How Does It Work

The TAG level switch system combines  the following operating principals for sensing  and controlling all types of materials.

The three main operating principals are:

  1. Changes in radio frequency (RF)

  2. Loss of electrical current

  3. Air dielectric strength

The RF signal makes it’s way through the (material) mass to the TAG system ground sensor, losing signal strength.

The sensor’s RF signal is strengthened and converted to DC current which are picked-up by the controller units.

The system is triggered when it detects the change in the signal when material reaches the sensor.

Red light is turned on as an alert to indicate material is present (detected).

The system continues to operate normally even in cases where the material condensates around the sensor (sensor completely covered by condensated materiel).
